The Sea of Lament is the ocean that you must cross to get to Puerto Zapato and then on to the Ninth Underworld gateway. No one nowadays knows why it is called the Sea of Lament, save for the fact that it is known the Sea was named by one of the earliest cartographers in the Land of the Dead. However, don't let the name disturb you as the Sea is calm ninety percent of the time, offering a smooth voyage to the souls crossing it.
