chances are you’re dead. Actually, I jest, you are dead! That’s because
this is the Land of the Dead. After all friend, we’re all just as dead as you! Before we begin out tour, I will lay down some basics, so as to keep you up to date because, as I have learned from personal experience, the Land of the Dead can be a confusing place to the newly deceased. To reach the Ninth Underworld, the land of eternal rest, you and all other souls must undertake a four-year journey of discovery across the Land of the Dead to the Ninth Underworld, the Land of Eternal Rest. If you have lead an exceptionally good life, devoid of sin, you are eligible for a gold ticket on the Number Nine train, a train that travels across the Land of the Dead in four minutes as opposed to four years. If you are eligible for a ticket, your friendly D.O.D travel agent will notify you of this. You agent will issue you your ticket before you are driven to the train station in a luxury limo where you can wait in comfort for the next train to take you to the Ninth Underworld. For the rest of us, there are numerous ways to make your way across the Land of the Dead. Ranging from an exotic ocean cruise that will sail across the Sea of Lament from the port town of Rubacava, to your own luxury sports car, so as you can see the world in style! For the more adventurous and outdoors going, there is even the option of walking this beautiful landscape, courtesy of the Excelsior Line. Now that you are familiar with the basics of your journey, lets delve into more detail about the Land of the Dead and all the wonderful sights you will see or learn about on your travels. |
